03 / PHOTO ORIENTATION

Portrait or landscape?

Choose the orientation that works best with your photo and the space where you plan to display it. All four poster sizes are available in portrait and landscape orientations.

Portrait poster example

Portrait

Taller than it is wide. Portrait orientation works well for individual portraits, full-length photos, and narrow wall spaces. It can also be a great choice beside a doorway or as part of a vertical gallery wall.

Landscape poster example

Landscape

Wider than it is tall. Landscape orientation is a natural fit for travel photography, family group photos, and wide scenic images. It also works beautifully above a sofa, bed, or console table.

Consider both your original photo composition and the shape of your wall before choosing an orientation.

04 / PHOTO CROPPING

Keep your favorite details in the frame.

Not every photo has the same shape as your chosen poster. When the proportions are different, parts of your image may need to be cropped to fit the selected size.

Different poster sizes have different proportions, so the same photo may show a different visible area in each size.

1

Use a clear, high-resolution original photo whenever possible.

2

Choose your poster size and orientation before finalizing the composition.

3

Check that important faces, people, and details remain inside the final print area.

05 / BEFORE YOU ORDER

A few things to consider.

The right poster size should work with your photo, your wall, and the way you want to display it.

01

Measure your space.

Measure the available wall area and consider nearby furniture, shelves, or other artwork. If you plan to use a frame, allow extra space for its outer dimensions.

02

Consider your photo.

Some photos work better in a wide format, while others suit a taller composition. Check your photo's shape before choosing the final poster orientation.

03

Think about viewing distance.

A smaller print can be enjoyed up close on a desk or shelf. A larger print may be easier to appreciate from across a living room or bedroom.
